From Lady @ Josh-Jackson.net:

Daniel Lanois chowed down at the Crawford St. location of Fresh By Juice For Life last week, and Joshua Jackson frequents their Queen St. location.  Seems Jackson, in town shooting the feech Aurora Borealis, is an unsung hero. On Sunday, U of T student Ryan Long was at the corner of Avenue and Davenport Rds. when a car ran a red light as he was crossing. "Someone yelled at the car to stop. I looked over and it was Josh Jackson," Long said. "I never got to thank him. I think the car would have dented me.", explains Ryan.

From Mandy for Josh-Jackson.net via Moviehole:

He might have missed out on putting on the Cowl, but former "Dawson's Creek" star and "Batman" contender Joshua Jackson has scored a near just-as-juicy gig. The actor - now preferring to go under the much-shorter, much-cooler 'Josh' - has nabbed one of the newly written male roles in the reworked Wes Craven flick "Cursed". Singer Mya has also scored a role in the film. Both Jackson and Mya were signed the same time as Portia De Rossi was. Jackson plays Jake, Mya will play Jenny. Moviehole has also been informed that Corey Feldman and Scott Baio - who were making appearances in the film as themselves - have been given the chop. The film stars Christina Ricci, Scott Foley, Skeet Ulrich and Mandy Moore plays the opening victim, in a scene very reminiscent of Drew Barrymore's cameo in "Scream", we're also informed.

Josh's character, Jake, who is in listed as being in his mid-to-late 20s. Described as “the ultimate leading man of mystery, he is handsome, with deep, piercing eyes and a small town charm. But there is also a real sense of darkness that is simultaneously unreachable and irresistible. With a secret life and questionable motives, he is someone to be approached with caution.

Thanks to Bronwen for this:

Shannon Elizabeth ...also nabbed a plum role in fright master Wes Craven's Cursed flick, which is also in production. "It's been really crazy with the movie because there have been a lot of changes to the script, and there has been some recasting. I know for sure that Christina Ricci is still in the film--she has one of the main roles. Mya and Portia de Rossi and Josh Jackson just signed on for supporting roles a few days ago," she reveals.

From Mandy for Josh-Jackson.net (per the ILYW Production company):

" For the next week and a half, I Love Your Work will be heading to Italy, hitting the Mifed International Film Market. Sadly, my colleagues and I will be stuck stateside, though the film will be in good hands - the foreign sales rep, Fireworks International, will be at the Market, finalizing ILYW's foreign distribution plans.

In the US, though several distributor offers are on the table, we've yet to reach a final decision, as technical problems with the master print have prevented us from screening the film for several more interested parties. With print problems finally (we think) hammered out, we should be able to hold the final screenings in the next couple of week, and lock in a plan by the end of the month. "
