Aurora Borealis - special screening in Hollywood, tonight!  Several members of our Josh-Jackson.net staff, including myself, will be attending the screening for Josh fans and hope to return with a few reviews to share with you.

 

E! True Hollywood Story - The Kids of Dawson's Creek - will be airing on the E! Channel on December 4th at 8p.m. and 11p.m., so check your local listings!

Joshua Jackson wins Best Actor at Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival!
The awards have just been announced for the 2005 Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival that Josh Jackson has won the Best Actor award for this years competition!  Donald Sutherland won Best Supporting Actor and the film itself, Aurora Borealis won Best Film!  Congratulations to the winners and of course to Josh! :)

Shadows in the Sun - DVD Release confirmed!
We received word that Shadows in the Sun will be coming to DVD in February.  The film is available for pre-order at Amazon.com and will be released on February 7, 2006.  This will be the full version of the film, which can only be seen on DVD.


The DVD features will include:
1.78:1 Anamorphic Widescreen
Original FULL version of the film (not seen on TV)
The Making of Shadows In The Sun - (narrated by Brad Mirman)
Behind the Scenes Clips
Interviews with Josh Jackson, Claire Forlani & Brad Mirman

Also, don't forget that Shadows in the Sun will debut tonight on ABC Family!

There will also be additional airings on the following dates:
* November 13th - 9:00 p.m. (tonight's encore presentation)
* November 14th - 8:00 p.m.
* November 19th - 10:00 p.m.

Joshua Jackson plans to "Meet The Devil", movie confirmation
IMDB.com has listed another project called "Meet The Devil" which we have received confirmation that Josh is attached to.  The movie will be filmed in Germany and Vancouver, Canada; however, it has no current start date.

The Hollywood Reporter announce Josh joins cast for "Bobby"
"William H. Macy, Helen Hunt, Christian Slater, Joshua Jackson, and James Marsden have been enlisted for "Bobby," Emilio Estevez's project about the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy, which he wrote and is directing. Estevez has assembled one of the most star-studded casts in recent memory for his film chronicling the intertwining lives of a grand cast of characters present at Los Angeles' Ambassador Hotel in the hours leading up to Kennedy's assassination. Anthony Hopkins, Demi Moore, Sharon Stone, Elijah Wood, Lindsay Lohan, Shia LaBeouf, Nick Cannon, Freddy Rodriguez and Brian Geraghty are already cast in the film, currently shooting in Los Angeles. New movie news - Josh enlists with "Bobby"
We are happy to announce that Josh has signed on to the new Emilio Estevez project, "Bobby". 

Plot Summary: The story of the assassination of U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy, which centers around 22 people who were at the Ambassador Hotel where he was killed.  Learn more about the film at IMDB.com

Filming is taking place now in Los Angeles and we hope to have more details to follow!

Aurora Borealis & I Love Your Work - Release and Screening News
I Love Your Work has opened at the Los Angeles Regent Showcase, tonight.  You can find show times and tickets by visiting the official site.
The film will be shown at the theater at least through the 11th (extended dates could follow). The film will also be coming to New York City on December 2nd!  You can read the latest reviews for the film. (read all)

Josh is scheduled to present the 2005 Robert Wise Award to director, Arthur Penn at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival tomorrow night.  Following the presentation will be the screening of Aurora Borealis and a Q&A with Josh and the director, James Burke.
