"Going against his WB-engendered cocky persona, Jackson
stresses Duncan's vulnerabilities thereby centering the film emotionally... Also, if you're interested in viewing some random "candids" of Josh, these are available to view here -- as they will not be listed in our main image gallery.

The untitled project, from "CSI" executive producer Carol Mendelsohn, revolves around brilliant legal associates at a powerful D.C. law firm who battle moral, ethical and legal challenges under the tutelage of a ruthless managing partner. Jackson will play a first-year associate whose career takes an unexpected turn when he is assigned the case of a death row inmate. The actor, who played Pacey Witter on "Dawson's," will next be seen in the indie features "Bobby" and "Aurora Borealis." Last year, he starred opposite Patrick Stewart in the stage production of David Mamet's "A Life in the Theater" in London's West End. ETA: It's been confirmed - IN THE SHADOW OF THE LAW (CBS) - Joshua Jackson ("Dawson's Creek") is the first to be cast in the drama pilot, about a group of smart legal associates trying to make partner at a powerful Washington, D.C.-based law firm while dealing with a host of moral, ethical and legal challenges. Jackson will play Mark Clayton, a first-year associate at the firm whose career takes an unexpected turn when he is assigned the case of a death row inmate. In addition, Danny Cannon ("C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation") is on board to direct the hour, which comes from "C.S.I." show runner Carol Mendelsohn and CBS Paramount Network Television. Hopefully, the pilot will be picked up for the new television season! All the best to Josh!
